Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-2026 School Year

Wednesday, April 2 - 9 AM to 4 PM & Thursday, April 3 - Noon to 7 PM
 
Location: Education Support Center, 2800 Texas Avenue, Deer Park 77536
 
Who Should Attend? Parents and children ages 3 to 5 yrs old (Child MUST be 4 years old on or before Sept 1, 2025) who are not currently enrolled in Deer Park ISD schools. (Students currently enrolled in the DPISD Pre-K program at the Early Childhood Center or at Parkwood Elementary School do not need to participate.) Student qualifies for Kindergarten if he/she is five (5) years old by September 1, 2025.
 
 
Qualifications for Pre-Kindergarten (each child must meet one or more of the following; documentation must be provided):
  • English proficiency: Must be unable to speak and comprehend English
  • Income: Qualifies for the national school lunch program
  • Housing: Is homeless, as defined by federal law
  • Military: Child of an active duty, injured, or fallen member of the armed forces
  • Foster care: Child is currently or formerly in foster care
  • Recognition: Child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award (peace officers, firefighters, emergency medical first responders)
 
Before April 2, please complete the New Student Online Enrollment Application.
 
Please bring all items to Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration:
  • Child or children to be enrolled in Pre-K and/or Kindergarten
  • Proof of Residency (at least one of the following)
    • Record Mortgage statement showing name and address of owner 
    • Current tax (HCAD) statement
    • Current lease agreement with one utility bill with same address
  • Birth Certificate
  • Current Immunization Record
  • Current Parent ID (e.g.: Texas Driver License)
  • A complete copy of custody papers (all pages), if applicable
  • Documentation to support Pre-Kindergarten qualification
 
If you are not able to attend the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Registration on April 2 or April 3, please plan to attend the next district registration date - Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
