DEER PARK HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION 2024

We look forward to celebrating the Deer Park High School Class of 2024 Thursday night with our annual graduation ceremony.  The event takes place at Clyde Abshier Stadium in Deer Park according to the following schedule:
  • Gates open – 6 p.m.
  • Processional begins – 7 p.m.
  • Ceremony begins – 7:30 p.m.

Events involving thousands of graduates, family members, and friends require a significant amount of planning and cooperation, and we want to ask for your help in making this year’s ceremony an enjoyable experience for each one of our seniors.  We also want to share some important information about the event.

PARKING

Parking is always a challenge at graduation, but it will be more of a challenge this year due to construction of the Career and Technical Education wing at South Campus.  This means that a portion of the parking lot is not available for use on Thursday night.

Please consider carpooling if possible.  We will also offer off-site parking and shuttles to the stadium.

PARKING SHUTTLES

There will be two shuttle locations running for graduation. They will pick up and drop off at Bonnette Junior High (BJH) and Deer Park Elementary (DPE).

Before the ceremony, shuttles will begin running at 6 p.m. and will stop at 7:30 p.m.

Shuttles will resume operation immediately after the graduation ceremony ends to return spectators to their vehicles.

Shuttle Pick-up – The DPE shuttle will drop off at the Technology building, which is located at 301 West P Street next to the stadium parking lot. The BJH shuttle will drop off at the corner of Texas Avenue and Brookhollow Drive next to the DPISD Education Support Center (ESC).

Returning Shuttles- Immediately after graduation, shuttles will begin returning spectators back to their vehicles. The DPE shuttle will pick up at the Technology Building. The BJH shuttle will pick up in the rear parking lot of the ESC.
