Bonnette Junior High

BJH is turning up the heat.

Principal

I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Bonnette Junior High website! This site has been designed to provide you with helpful information so that you may become more familiar with our school. One of the best ways to learn more about what Bonnette has to offer your child is to browse around this website.

As a TEA “Recognized” school, Bonnette enjoys a rich history of academic excellence. Our staff continually provides an academically challenging educational program that engages each student by linking the curriculum to previous knowledge and experiences. We have found this is the best way to promote further exploration of new ideas and increase high expectations.P lease know that our highly qualified staff truly cares about your student and is committed to their success. We take great pride in our student’s accomplishments, and we will continually strive to make Bonnette a place where every child feels accepted, supported, and valued.

I am truly honored to be appointed to the position of Principal at Bonnette and am looking forward to working with our dedicated staff to provide the best possible educational program for our students. Before coming to Bonnette, I spent over 20 years in Deer Park ISD working as a teacher, coach and assistant principal.

As principal, I want to strengthen the bridge between parents, teachers, support staff, and administration. We all have an important role to encourage our children and to help them become active learners at Bonnette. As always, we value your input and participation in helping Bonnette be the very best it can be, so please don’t hesitate to contact us if we can be of assistance. One of Bonnette’s objectives is for our parents and staff to have the opportunity to collaboratively work together each day in the best interest of our students. It is our sincere desire to provide expanded opportunities for our students to acquire the skills to become productive citizens in a vastly changing society. Therefore, I encourage parents and students to become actively involved in the school. There is a wide array of activities, clubs, and athletic teams available in which to join and participate. The time spent at Bonnette is a great time to explore and grow. Students will discover new friends, new skills, and new interests. We want your child to experience an exciting school year and be proud of being a Bonnette Bobcat.

Sincerely,
Paul Moore, Principal
