The Language Arts department works hard to incorporate authentic reading, writing, thinking, listening and speaking skills through consistent application of the TEKS in each and every classroom. As we prepare students to become life-long learners, our goals are to introduce students to wonderful literature through a text rich environment, to convey the power of the written word, and to allow students to discover their own voice.
