Openings in Child Nutrition Department

Food Service Worker I 

The Child Nutrition Department is looking for applicants who have had food service experience in schools or the public sector to join our staff at various schools.  Salaries will begin at $8.57 per hour and previous experience will be considered.  To apply online, go to the District website at www.dpisd.org and go to Job Bank through the Human Resources found under District Services.

Child Nutrition Substitute

For those applicants who have not had any food service experience, positions are available throughout the district to serve as a Child Nutrition substitute. The purpose of the Child Nutrition Program is to safeguard the health and well being of the district’s children by providing nutritional meals each school day.  This ensures that participating children gain a full understanding of the relationship between proper eating and good health.  The program is administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA).
