Kindergarten Cats
Kindergartens are required to learn many, many technology skills. Here are a few that we will begin the year with:
- How to use a mouse
- How to use a keyboard
- Know the parts of the computer
- How to open/close a program
- How to open/save a file
Parents, if you are able to, please help reinforce what we learn in the lab by practicing these items with your child at home. We will also be doing different activities on the computer that will not only teach computer skills but also reinforce concepts learned in the classroom.
At school, we have a computer curriculum that helps us called Easy Tech. You may also access this at home.
Kinder’s username is kinder7 and password is 1234 and school district Deer Park ISD. There will be many lessons listed that we will not have time to do at school, so please feel free to complete some of the lessons at home. I will keep this weblog updated to let you know which ones we’ve done at school.
