Thursday, October 4th, 2007All grade levels are busy learning the keys on the keyboard. K, 1, and 2 are learning where the keys are, how to make capital letters with the shift key, and how to spell their names quickly. The upper grades are memorizing the home row and surrounding keys. Here are the wpm goals for each grade level:
3rd grade - 8 wpm with 0-1 errors
4th grade - 12 wpm with 0-1 errors
5th grade - 20 wpm with 0-1 errors
