The upper grades are busily learning keyboarding skills while also learning Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access. Here is our basic agenda:

TWOTD (Technology Word of the Day)
We started working this week on our Technology Terms Journal in PowerPoint. Every week we go over a new tech term. Here’s what we’ve learned so far:

Input/Output Devices

An input device is a piece of hardware that allows you to put information INTO a computer. Some common input devices are keyboard, mouse, scanner, digital camera, and microphone.

An output device is a piece of hardware that allows you to get information OUT OF a computer. This would be a monitor, printer, speakers, headphones.

Next week we will cover parts of a computer.
