January

Hey kids it’s already January. Can you believe it? We’ve learned a lot, but still have a lot more to learn. This month we’re going to work on geometry. You’ll be studying about lines, shapes, and angles. We’ve talked about this a little bit through Calendar Math. Here are a list of words that you can work on: parallel, perpendicular, intersecting. These are all types of lines and where they are located. We’ll also be studying about 2D and 3D shapes. We’ll be making these shapes out of pasta, toothpicks and marshmallows. Don’t miss the fun!

Wow! What a great place! The Outdoor Learning Center is a super neat place to learn about math and science. We put our measuring skills to work measuring the paths, benches, and each other!
