Deepwater JH Choir

I hope everyone is doing fine after Hurricane Ike. I would like to hear from you and hear your stories. Please add your story to the blog.

Did you ride out the storm at home? Did you leave before/after the storm? Where did you go? How are you doing now?

I went to Dallas with my family. We returned on Sunday when we heard that my parents had power and water. La Porte does not have power so we have not gone home to stay yet. On our way back from Dallas we stopped in Buffalo to gas up and I found a lost puppy. I stood by the street holding him hopeing someone would come and claim him but no one did so the manager at Dairy Queen took him. We named him Ike. I hope he finds a good home. Hope to be back at school soon. I know that those of you who took Region Music will know it all before we return, even the song in Hebrew :O)

The choir will be taking a trip to the Opera and Spaghetti Warehouse on November7th. We are ordering 100 tickets for the first 100 students who pay. The cost is $19 which includes your ticket and your meal at Spaghetti Warehouse. Check permission Slips on this blog.

Meet us at Incredible Pizza on Fairmont this Thursday, September 4th. Ms. Borrego and Ms. Musselman will be there from 6-8 pm. Bring your family, bring your friends and have a good time. Thursday’s are double token days ($25 maximum you get $50 in tokens)

You will need to bring our choir flyer. I’ll have that for you on Tuesday or check back on this blog for a copy that you can print.
