Students should be seated in the boys’ gym by 7:15 PM.

Choir Students should wear:
6th grade: Choir T-shirt and Jeans
7th & 8th grade Girls: Choir Dress, natural colored hose and black shoes
7th & 8th Grade Boys: Black Pants and Black shoes
Tuxedo shirt, cummerbund and bowtie (provided by the school)

This is a graded performance. Students who do not participate in the concert will not be able to participate in singing at the Elementary performance.

Parent Chaperones are needed to sit with choir students during this performance. Please let us know if you can volunteer.

I love Christmas and of course I Love ALL Christmas Carols? We’ll be doing Christmas Karaoke soon. If I had to choose one Christmas Carol it would have to be “Silent Night”!

thanks-pic.docHere’s wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving! …and a little reminder to practice your Christmas music and remember to bring your music to school on the first day back for extra credit.

Our Christmas Concert will be on Thursday, December 6th at 7:30 pm. Students are hard at work learning Christmas music. We will have practice CD’s available for 7th and 8th grade students for 50 cents next week. This is a great tool so that students can continue learning their Christmas music over the Thanksgiving Holidays.

SEARCH: Ave Verum Corpus by Mozart. I found a site that had a recording of the Vienna Boys Choir singing “Ave Verum”. This is the song that the DWJH Treble Choir sang at the Fall Concert and the Region Treble Choir sang at Region. Let me know what you find. You’ll get extra credit.
