So sorry for the late post. After much thought, I have decided to use my blog to post my weekly information instead of schoolnotes.com, so everything will be in one place. 
This week we have a review rule for spelling. Ten sentences with one word each for homework. No baby sentences! :)
Today we had our first benchmark…wow! What an awesome bunch of kids we have. Everyone worked really hard.
We will continue to work on writers block for some. Talk to your kids about memories. List everything you can think of together. Make a list of “Remember when…”
It is hard for kids to come up with ideas when we write. As I told the kids today, you don’t have to go to Disney World to have a story to write about. You can write about everyday life. If you wrote a story about my kids and me trying to get ready and out the door in the morning, you would have a mini-series full of dramatic crisis!
Give them a hug, pat them on the back, and have a great evening. It was a long day.
