I loved the book, Inch and Miles. The funny thing is I also have a book written by John Wooden named Coach Wooden’s Pyramid of Success. Inch and Miles really give good tips about what it takes to be successful. I think each piece of their story (hard work, enthusiasm, friendship, loyalty, cooperation, self-control, alertness, action, determination, fitness, team spirit, poise, and confidence) are all equally important. It’s like pieces to a puzzle. When you put them all in place - you are surely to be a successful student at Dabbs Elementary. Thank you so much for sharing your book with me. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
    Love,
    Mrs. Collom

  32. Mrs. Holcomb Says:

Thank you for sharing the book, Inch and Miles, with me. I have two favorite parts to the story. I like the poetic style that the animals spoke in when defining the pyramid and success. I also enjoyed the pictures, or as you call them, the illustrations. They are very colorful and the animals’ faces are friendly. I would recommend this book for my friends to read too.

    Love,
    Mrs. Holcomb
