Pluto not a planet?

To Hailey and Briana,

I think that you are mistaken. Pluto has been officially taken off the list of planets. Not to say, that it won’t be put back on at some point. The official definition of a planet keeps changing, therefore, the number of planets change. Teachers across Texas are teaching that there are 8 planets: we remember, My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nachos. But thank you for your reply.

I am so glad that you all tried to see the lunar eclipse. I tried also.
But remember, I did say that if the weather was cloudy or rainy, we would miss seeing it. The eclipse happened without us. Boo hoo! I did see it on the internet and it was beautiful. Just like we thought it would be- big, round and reddish-orange. Oh, by the way, whenever you write to me–please sign your name or log in with your name because I’d like to know who I am talking to. Thanks alot! Good luck on your math benchmark today.
    See ya,
    Mrs. R.
