Module 2 - Planning My Unit
Tuesday, June 17th, 2008In Module 2, we signed up for a social bookmarking account (del.icio.us) and learned how to use it.
We opened the Unit Plan Template that was previously saved in our Portfolios. We found out where to find the TEKS on our curriculum resource CD so that they can be copied and pasted into the Unit Plan.
After a discussion on Curriculum-Framing Questions, everyone participated in a brainstorming activity.
We worked on developing our Essential, Unit and Content questions, along with starting to put objectives into our Unit Plan.
We viewed some presentations from the fall and spring classes on Gauging Student Needs. We talked about storyboarding the presentations and what they would involve.
We reviewed the blogging questions for Module 2.
