The Choir Banquet will be Saturday, May 24, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at South Shore Harbor in Clear Lake. Ticket information will follow at a later date.

Dr. Robert Ray’s Gospel Mass will be a combined performance with all Deer Park High School choirs joining to present this unique experience.

Students will have a final rehearsal with Dr. Ray in the Performing Arts Center on May 19 at 4:30 p.m.

Dr. Ray will conduct the Gospel Mass at the performance at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 19.  You won’t want to miss it! It is one of the most fun and uplifting experiences of the year! The students have a great time preparing and performing and the event is something they will never forget.

Parent Letter

The South Campus Trip to Dallas is scheduled for March 20-28. We will begin to load buses at 6:20 a.m. and will depart South Campus promptly at 6:45 a.m.  Students will arrive back at South Campus on Sunday, March 30, at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Trip forms are now available on this blog site and also at Charmsmusic.com. There are several forms - The Parent Letter, Medical Treatment Consent, Medical Information Forms, Student Agreement, Parent Permission Form, and a list of Rules, Guidelines and Information.

 Forms should be turned in by March 25. If we do not have these forms in hand by March 27, you cannot get on the bus.

Take E. Beltway 8/Sam Houston Tollway North to US-90 W exit toward Houston/Liberty. Merge onte E Beltway 8/E. Sam Houston Parkway North/ E. Belt Drive. Turn right onto W. Lake Houston Parkway. Turn Left onto Will Clayton Parkway. Atascocita High School is located at 13300 Will Clayton Parkway. Mapquest estimates the drive time to be 40 minutes.

Concert and Sightreading Contest will be held April 2-4 at South Campus. Parent Volunteers are needed. Please contact the choir office if you are a parent with time during the day to help the Booster Club with the concessions.

The bus will leave South Campus at noon on Satuday, February 9. Solo and Ensemble is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and the bus will deliver students back to South Campus. The drive is approximately one hour. If the student is not traveling by bus, then a permission slip signed by the parent must be turned in by Friday, February 8. The form may be printed off the link provided. Maps and directions will be available when the form is turned in.

Students and Parents can now access financial and trip information by going to www.charmsmusic.com. Log on under Parent/Student Login using DeerParkHSChoir and the student’s school ID number. It’s quick, easy and convenient.

At this time, voice lessons balances cannot be maintained on this site, but monthly statements are sent home with the students each month on or about the 10th of the month.
